The 14.8V or 26v is a short form factor Hot-swap Shark-fin adapter that mounts directly to the existing v-type plate on the camera or lights and battery plates.. It allows for continuous battery operation as you can easily remove the depleted battery while leaving the other battery connected. You can also use two battery’s at a time to deliver a greater amperage for larger lights or to extend run times.
